NOTE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ABOVE POINTS
Notice salvation is the all encompassing word which describes the totality of the glorious benefits which the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus has made available onto us (that is deliverance, forgiveness of sins, superiority over demoniacal powers, healing etc.
The Apostle Paul understood the significance of the new birth and so he tells us in Gal 6:15 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation”.
He means that no amount of workings or self effort on the part of anyone can qualify one enough to be a child of God. The only thing that makes the difference is THE NEW BIRTH.
Where did He come from? The New Creation is the fruit of Christ’s redemption. The old man was redeemed by the death of Christ. Romans 5:10 The New Man was born again by the resurrection of Christ from death to glory! Romans 1:4, 6:1.
Where is He going? Romans 8:14-17. As joint heir together with Christ, the new creation is headed for glory in the soon to come manifestation of the Kingdom of Christ. This is his inheritance.
Acts 20:32 Thus He is groomed by His tutor – the Holy Spirit – through the Word of God to take this rightful place which is his!
In conclusion, the new creation is more than a forgiven sinner. He is a recreated son of God, a master of demons.
To become a new creation:
ROMANS 10:9, 10. It is that simple: if you believe, then say this prayer -“Father I thank You for sending Jesus to die for me and I believe you raised Him up for my justification, I therefore confess Jesus as the Lord of my life and I declare that I am born again, am a new creation and I receive your Spirit into my spirit”.
