When we speak…

The path that leads to maturity and perfection in Christ teaches and admonishes us to tame our tongue. The need stands vital for our manifest transformation in Christ…for our words must be filled with His wisdom and Grace always…seasoned with salt…ministering the supply of Heavens’ riches to them that hear us.

In the light of this, we obey the instruction to tame our tongue. We are no longer numbered among the carnal men whose tongue is an “unruly evil and full of deadly poison”. No! This is no longer true of the new man in Christ. We have been born again of His Spirit…now we carry His life and nature. It is past time that our thoughts, words and actions convey and manifest this new fragrance of the aroma of Christ in us.

Therefore we say “these things ought not to be so”: We cannot bless and curse with the same tongue. We cannot send forth sweet and bitter waters with the same tongue. We cannot bear both olive berries and figs as the vine. No brethren, these things ought not to be so!

Instead, let it be blessing only. When we speak, let it be only such that is good and beneficial to the progress of others. Let it be the seasoned sweet waters of the spirit of God gushing out through us to quench the thirst of a parched world…let it be the fine olives of the vine always…for we are the branches…He is the Vine; Let that deposited in Him course through and fill our every chamber! Glory to God!

This taming of our tongue, we shall accomplish as we yield always to the tutelage of the Spirit in the Word of God.

O Thank You Mighty Helper!!

“Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it. “Ephesians 4: 29(AMP)
