We are the called to walk under the sovereignty of the Word of God’s Grace…
Let us see ourselves doers of the Word, as it prevails mightily in us.
We are the called and chosen… to be faithful to the Light of His Word.
It is not enough that we hear the Word and have it burn on our inside…No!
We must yield also ourselves to be propelled by its fire! We must pledge fealty to the Lord Jesus and submit fully under the banner of “doers of His Word”.
James 1:22-25 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
For His Word is His will revealed. It is His agenda manifestly declared. His Word is the vehicle that communicates His authority and power into our lives. To obey His word is to be a doer of His Word. Not by compulsion…because we are supposed to…Nay! I say no!
Rather, let it be by the submission of agape. Let is be by the revelation that He alone is worthy…no one else! Let it be by the light of the truth: That now we are children of God and members of the first order of new creation men…therefore we ought to walk tangibly displaying the power of His life in us…expressing in all themes, the reality of the spirit of the risen Lord resident in our hearts. We do so by doing the Word. In our thoughts, with our lips, in our actions…yea, in all things let us stand doers of His Word! Glory to God!
For we refuse to be numbered among them who gaze into the Word and see, and then turn away and forget. We refuse to be forgetful participators in this fellowship of Life. When we look, we shall see. As we see, we shall not forget. We shall meditate on the truth revealed to our hearts and be transformed- indelibly unto His Glory! Selah.
Let us be doers of His Word not deceiving ourselves!
For therein is hid the conduit for the manifestation of the blessing…In doing as His Word has declared, we position ourselves rightly to be overflowed by all the supply from the” riches of the glory of His Grace”.
