Wisdom and Strength from our Father to stand…

James 1:13-15: Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Have we not often blamed God for orchestrating our many collisions with seeming ubiquitous temptation? Have we not placed blame on the Father’s head when he had naught to do with it?

Brethren, let us not err.

God does not use evil to tempt men. Let us stop blaming God here. For we are drawn away from the path of agape by our own selfish and unbridled desires. It is this ungodly lust that causes us to fall prey to the enticement of the temptation presenting itself. Therefore, we must take heed as we stand…we must draw wisdom and strength from our Father and stand…lest we fall. Selah

The ungodly selfish desire makes us subject to the enticement of the presenting temptation; and then we stumble and then many fall into sin…and then many experience the consequences of falling into sin. Selah

Let us thank God for revelation!
For now we know how to walk in the light so that we do not fall prey to the enticing wiles of darkness’s temptation. Now we know that we must drown self into the infinite soundless depths of agape, and keep ourselves under the influence of the sovereign word of God. This is how we shall no longer be drawn to the enticing influence of temptation. Selah.

God is our Helper!
