Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins – 1 John 4:10
Words always seem to fail in any quest to describe the depths of God’s love; when he sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins. How truly unimaginably breathtaking…how utterly out of this world…how gracefully divine!
Will a Creator truly have genuine interest in His creation?
Will a Creator selflessly hurt himself in His quest to further the interests of His creation?
Will a Creator deem the creation that valuable?
So much so that Deity will deign to carry our sins and suffer our punishment in order to redeem us? Such hard questions! Such resoundingly amazing answers in Christ!
We see the plainest testimony of Deity in the face of Jesus Christ.
We awaken to the true love heart of the Father as we ponder the message of the gospel.
Herein is Love- “not that we first loved Him…but He loved us, and gave Jesus for us!”
Glory to God forever!
O the wonder of the mighty matchless love of God- In Christ!
Herein is Love!
O thank you Lord Jesus!
O thank you Mighty God!
