1 John

Our calling to love…against many odds

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8

Let us therefore walk in love always. For we are of God; born of His very person, carrying his life and nature…positioned with the First Born in His loving arms forever! Of God…therefore let us make known to all peoples this fragrance of the King we are endowed with.

Whenever we have the urge and leading to forge ahead in agape, let us remember that it is of and from God. This should help us release ourselves from the struggle that usually ensues when we are faced with situations that stir up in our hearts the foul affections of un-forgiveness, hatred and apathy. Let us remember always that it is in our calling and new nature to love…against many odds, without selfish interests…with the ability and longsuffering of Deity! This is how we show to all that we are born of God…that we know the Heavenly Father! For “he that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

For it is Ephesians 3:19 that unveils to us the mystery of love as we awaken to the fullness of the knowledge of the truth….as we know, we are filled with endowment to walk in love to its highest expression! Therefore to know God is to love; to awaken to Heaven is to walk in love. Love that suffers long and is kind; love that does not envy…is not proud; does not puff itself up in vanity. Love that does not seek its own, is not easily provoked…does not think evil. Love that does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth…love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things…endures all things! Glory to God!

Where is the child of God who has come to know God?
Where is the new man in Christ?
Where is the careful student of Scripture who has been transformed and renewed in his mind by the divine rays of revelation?

We bid you show yourself in the myriad manifestations of Agape!
