The political and civil leadership of our day…

An arguably candid description of the political and civil leadership of our day. Men entrusted with the solemn duty of safeguarding the high principles of justice, equity and freedom have themselves become the defilers of the holy sanctuary in which these ideals repose.

It appears that leadership today seems to have become vain in its posturing, principles and goals. It is almost irrefutable; the fact that today’s modern secular hierarchies has jettisoned the heavenly ideals of truth and justice and has crowned avarice instead…making this monster the telling ethos of the expressions of authority…stripping threadbare public virtue till it has no heavenly element in its fabric today.

I say that the times call for true expression of Christian virtues in all spheres of engagement. The times call for the walking in the sublime light of the Word of His Grace….that the dichotomy may cease…that chasm between what we profess and what we actually do! The times demand that we take the heavenly ideals that constitute our convictions, and translate them into practical, tangible expressions in every sphere of human engagement.

Shall we not be consumed in prayer? Shall we not burn with desire to see the purging of this dross from our jewels…that we may see again and smell anew the sweet fragrance of heavens ideals ruling in our minds, actions and public virtues.

God is our Helper!

Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.[Isaiah 1:23]
