Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God – 1 John 3:9
I believe in the perfection of the Word of God. I believe that who we truly are…is found revealed alone in the Word of His Grace. I believe that there is no truer reflection of who we are in reality than what we see revealed in the light of His Word. Selah
This is one scripture that often sends “shivers of truths” down many spines. We wonder…can it truly be so? Are we truly cut from that same cloth that guarantees that we shall walk clothed in constant dominion over sin? What about our practical experiences? What about the numerous times we have “sinned and fallen short”?
I believe in the entire harmony of the body of Truth. I believe the truth this Scripture reveals here must fit in with that light shed at chapters 1 and 2….light that reveals the new creation at his imperfect “growing up into maturity” state; and the provision Grace makes available to keep him upright always. I believe there is no conflict or dichotomy of thought between these two candlesticks of revelation. I see only a singular vision and a unified voice here.
