A duty to pursue with godly passion

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. [Daniel 12:3]

…they that turn many to righteousness…

There is a duty that the new creation must perform with the deepest convictions and with the sincerest of hearts. A duty he must pursue with the zeal of godly passion and with the promise of heavenly reward guiding him diligently.

For we have the faithful and true testimony of Scripture…that on that day, “Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever”

Therefore, we must be wise…we must be them who turn many to righteousness. We must be the vessels of honor completely yielded to the Holy Spirit in the glorious enterprise that seeks to bring all men into Christ and see all in Him come to the fullness of the measure of His stature…even unto maturity in Him. Selah

To this cause, I say Child of God, may your arms be strengthened and may your feet always be swift to execute the King’s fiat…may your heart always be full and ablaze with the eternal truth of the gospel of Grace…and may your lips always pour out the overflow from your heart as you preach with the zeal of righteousness and in the power of the Holy Spirit…the unsearchable mysteries of the Kingdom and Lordship of Jesus Christ. You shall see the bringing in of the harvest as we preach Jesus Christ as we ought to!

Hear and be postured rightly. For behold He comes quickly and His reward with Him. Shall He find His ministers at work in the vineyards He assigned us? Shall He find our lamps burning and filled with extra oil? Shall we be found wise? …unmovable and unshakeable in the business of our Liege Lord? Selah

For “they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

Glory to God!
