1 Peter · Exegesis of Light

healing that restores and perfects…

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. [1 Peter 2:24]

“By whose stripes you were healed!”
Dear Dear Lord! O that the full load of this Truth will flood our hearts and consume us fully in the soundless depths of Zoë….We receive Grace…that we should learn to walk steady in all the riches of the treasures available to us In Christ! Selah

I believe in the miraculous! I believe in the power the suffering, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus unleashes. I believe health –a sound mind and body- is the birthright of every man…especially the man in Christ!

Healing is the birthright and bread of the children of the kingdom. It has already been purchased for us by the suffering of the man Jesus…for by His stripes we were healed! He took upon himself the suffering for all manner of diseases that we should not suffer them any more. He took it for us that we should have power today to claim a life unspoiled by sickness, infirmity or disease. Selah

Glory to God!

If we have believed into the power of the new birth and the presence of the Holy Spirit in us; it is but a further milking of the vine of truth that shall take us into the glorious realms of divine health and divine healing by the same glorious power by which we are saved. We cannot deny the one and acknowledge the other. The principle and grounding of the two are in the same reality and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us walk in health – body and mind! Let us receive healing that restores and perfects…in the name of Jesus! For by His stripes, He has healed us! It is a past tense reality to which we must presently lay a hold on and appropriate for ourselves. It is a fight of faith…a choice we must make between the reality of His Word on one hand and the testimony of the physical senses on the other. One must prevail over the other. O let it always be the triumph of the Word of His Grace!

Selah.
