1 Peter

we are His chosen and faithful

I Peter 1:2 KJVELECT according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. [emphasis mine]

1. ELECT.

This means chosen of God to occupy a privileged place. This is talking about the Church; God’s called out assembly. He has called us out of the world of Adam into the lofty heights in Christ. We are God’s chosen and accepted assembly. He called. We have responded. We are His chosen and faithful.

Are you a member of the Body of Christ?
Are you part of His Church?
Have you responded to His call in Christ?

You must! There is no other worthier than the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which a man can be saved and have access to the Father. There is no loftier call; no greater promise…no surer certainty than the anchor we have in Christ. Come to the Light. Come be part of God’s Elect! His Grace that brings salvation is closest to you…lay a hold on it and receive life! Selah

To the child of God, I say, let us remain faithful to our place of election in Christ. Let us not waiver on our convictions…let us not meander from the path. Ours is indeed a glorious opportunity to fellowship with the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit. It is the most important thing we should spend our time and resources nurturing. It is the one thing most needful today. Beloved, let us dare embrace the fullness of our calling in Christ. Let us dare live up to the full measure of the stature of Christ. Let us walk as His elect.
