And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Hallelujah! The peace of God rules in my heart. Does it rule in yours? Or is your heart a raging tempest- an angry sea tossing and turning with no discernible horizon and the blackness of the sky wrapped all around it? Have you come to know the peace of God?
This peace is the steady certainty that all things will work together for your good. It is rooted in hope. It is connected into by faith…it is experienced to its zenith by the mind awakened to the living Word! Selah
We have been called to walk in the experience of the peace of God. It is the note that sounds the cessation of hostilities between God and man….it is the rainbow guarantee that God is not angry with us…will not be angry with us…that He joys over us with singing in our midst. Zephaniah 3:17. Selah. This is peace.
His peace is the stiller of our hearts in the midst of the storms of this life. For the vicissitudes of this temporary sojourn will come howling with destructive intent…but we will not shake. We will not be found vacillating in uncertainty…we will stand unshakeable unmovable….rooted deep in the peace of God!
His peace is that which endows us with ability to sing the joy songs of Zion in the midst of great trials and tempests. It is the reason we can lie still in green pastures and meditate on His word no matter the fury of the storm in whose eye we are caught. His peace reigns. Unconquerable!
My heart is still because I have the peace of God in me. I can hear His voice minister always in the stillness of my heart.
Thank you Father! Thank you Holy Spirit! In the name of Jesus! For your peace to which I am called….your peace that reigns in my heart.
