“…for I know whom I have believed….”(2 Timothy 1:12)
O child of God, can we declare this truth with utmost conviction? For the call is that we may explore the soundless depths of fellowship with Him. It is His desire to have them embers of flames catch fire in our hearts…that we may be propelled by His passion into His purposes…that we may truly know Him! John 17:3
Child of God, do you truly desire Jesus?
Has a passion for His Lordship and Kingdom consumed us in insatiable hunger…a hunger satisfied only in Him? A hunger borne from an unrelenting desire for Him. For it is our Helper’s desire that we come to be fully smitten by the beauty of His countenance….by the splendour of His throne….the majesty of His Power! O that our heartbeat should constantly yearn for His voice! O that our desire may be truly Him above all else! O that we may be propelled by His Love to know Him who died for us…that we may live in Him! Selah
“A person through desire separates himself and fellowships (has constant association) with wisdom (the Lord Jesus) Proverbs 18:1
The result of such exposure is seen in the thoughts, words and character of a man. The person who truly walks in the light of fellowship with the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit is tangibly transformed. He shall draw testimony from onlookers akin to that said of the Apostles…” they reckoned that these had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 (paraphrased). The true testimony will be “these are walking with Jesus” Selah!
This is the “how to” to indelible transformation! It is by knowing Him as He is revealed in the Light of the Word that we come to be transformed. It is by fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit in the Word that we come to truly know Him! Dear child of God! Do not neglect to make your high calling in Him sure! Let us not miss the greatest opportunity of all…to intimately know the King of Kings and Lord of Lords…to be united in oneness with His mind; that we may whisper, like the Apostle Paul, this confession: “I know whom I have believed!” Selah
Dearly Beloved, know Him!
